Benoit Lévesque

The subject in his work serves as a vehicle. Through creation and the creative approach, the blank canvas comes to life as an organic and fluid form. At times marked by lightness, others seemingly more structured, it is punctuated by colour, light and the artist’s spontaneous touch.

The most important thing for Benoît Lévesque is that a work of art stimulates and questions. It is not a fixed object and definitely not an end unto itself. It is part of a continuum, devoid of time.
