| My pictorial approach drew its inspiration from floral subjects such as flower beds, flowerpots, or eventually a simple bunch of flowers. The painting is mostly defined as semi-figurative in its approach. Acrylic is the preferred medium with an addition, from time to time, of paper collages and/or oil pastels to increase the texture of the final product. The spatula and the modeling paste are also used to accentuate the movement and depth.
In my gardens during summertime, I take advantage of the luminosity and capture the beautiful nature using drawing and photography. |
